It is an application seeking a direction to the first respondent to instruct the second respondent to register the case based on the complaint given by the petitioner on 12.07.2016 . 2.When the matter came up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, a case has been registered in Crime No.226 of 2016 under Sections 294(b) and 323 IPC and Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002 by the second respondent Police.
