Respondent/Complainant Prayer :- Criminal Original Petition is filed under section 482 of Cr.P.C., to call for the records and quash the same complaint in CC.No.442 of 2008 on the file of the Learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Madurai, as against the Petitioners concerned . ORDER:- This Civil Revision Petition coming on for hearing on this day under the caption for "Extension of time"and upon perusing the earlier order dated 18.07.2023 and the requisition letter submitted by Learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Madurai, vide the letter in D.No.3924 dated 26.12.2023 forward by the Chief Judicial Magistrate,Madurai this Court made the following order: 1/3

"This Court vide order dated 18.07.2023 directed the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Madurai to complete the trial in C.C.No.442 of 2008, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of that order.

2.The learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Madurai vide a letter dated 26.12.2023 bearing D.No.3924 has stated that the case was posted on 16.11.2023 for framing of charges and on that day it was informed that A6 died. Therefore, the case was posted on 21.11.2023. On that day, both side counsel reported that mediation talk is going between the parties. Thereafter, on 07.12.2023 charges were framed and on 12.12.2023, when the case is posted for complainant side evidence, A7 reported died. Now, the case is posted for cross-examination of P.W.1.

3.Being satisfied with the reasons stated by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Madurai in the said letter dated 2/3

26.12.2023, this Court is inclined to extend the time to dispose of the case in C.C.No.442 of 2008. The learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Madurai is directed to dispose of the cases in C.C.No.442 of 2008 as expeditiously as possible."
