O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents to conduct survey, effect subdivision and transfer patta, comprised in Survey No. 236/11, Patta No.15 in respect of the petitioner's property situated at Kunnakudi Village, Thiruppathur Taluk, Sivagangai District based on the petitioner's representation dated 05.01.2026.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner and his brother, K. Palani, had equally divided the property in the presence of village elders. He further submitted that the portion allotted to the petitioner falls under Survey No. 236/11 in Patta No. 15. Now, the petitionerseeks to conduct a survey, subdivide the property, and transfer the patta to his individual name based on his representation dated 05.01.2026.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submitted that the petitioner has not submitted the mandatory online application.

4. Considering the above facts, the petitioner is directed to file an online application within a period of two weeks. Thereafter, the respondents shall conduct the survey after issuing notice to the petitioner and his brother K.Palani. The Court is also directing the second respondent to adhere to the following Standard Operating Procedures:

a. The second respondent shall issue notice to the petitioner immediately reaching the spot where survey is to be conducted. The petitioner shall affix the signature by receiving the notice of survey.

b.After survey again the petitioner shall affix signature indicating that the survey was conducted to their satisfaction.

c. If the petitioner is not satisfied, then also the 3/6

petitioner shall affix signature indicating their dissatisfaction or with protest. The petitioner shall indicate that reason of their dissatisfaction or protest. The aforesaid procedure shall be strictly followed by the parties and thereafter, the respondents shall pass appropriate orders within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
