No.33/2018 dated 2.11.2018 in detaining the detenu Nagaraj, S/o Ekambaram, aged about 28 years, lodged in Central Prison, Tiruchirappalli, detained under Section 2 (f) of Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 as Goonda, quash the same and consequently direct the respondents herein to produce the body and person of the said detenu before this Hon'ble Court and, thereafter, set him at liberty.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by M.Sathyanarayanan, J.) This habeas corpus petition has been preferred by the petitioner challenging the detention order dated 2.11.2018 passed by the 2nd respondent in and by which the 2nd https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
respondent detained the detenu, Nagaraj, S/o Ekambaram, branding him as a 'Goonda' under Section 2 (f) of Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 with a view to preventing him from acting prejudicial to the interest of public health and public order.
2. When the matter is taken up today, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submit that the detention order impugned above has been revoked by the Government. A copy of the order of revocation in G.O. Rt. No.5586, Home, Prohibition & Excise (XIII) Dept., dated 21.12.2018 is produced before this Court.
3. Recording the said revocation, nothing survives for adjudication in this petition and, accordingly, this habeas corpus petition is dismissed as infructuous.
