Considering the limited scope of the relief available to the petitioner in the present writ petition, with the consent of the learned Counsel on either side, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.
2.The petitioner has preferred an appeal challenging an order in patta proceedings. The said appeal has been filed before the first respondent dated 01.12.2023 and the petitioner only seeks expeditious disposal of the said appeal.
3.Considering the fact that the appeal has been pending over a year, this Writ Petition is disposed of, with a direction to the first respondent to hear and pass orders on merits and thereby dispose of the appeal within a period of two [2] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
