O R D E R

This petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., praying to call for the records pertaining to the FIR in Crime No.285 of 2016 on the file of the 1st respondent police and quash the same as illegal.

2.Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, the petitioner/Sole Accused and as well as the 2nd respondent/de-facto complainant with their counsel appeared in person. They have filed a joint Memorandum of compromise, stating that the matter has already been compromised between the parties and the respondent has no objection to quash the FIR in Crime No.285 of 2016 on the file of the first respondent police.

3.In view of the statement made by the parties and the joint compromise memo filed by them, no fruitful purpose will be achieved to proceed further in this matter.

4.In view of that, this petition is allowed and the entire proceedings in respect of Crime No.285 of 2016 on the file of the 1st respondent police, is quashed as against the petitioner. The joint compromise memo shall form part of the record.
