The Civil Miscellaneous Petition has been filed seeking orders to condone the delay of 78 days in filing the appeal, challenging the award, dated 29.08.2025 made in M.C.O.P.No.258 of 2024 on the file of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Additional District and Sessions Judge No.II, Tanjore.

2. Despite receipt of notice, the respondent has not turned up.

3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and also perused the records.

4.Considering the reasons assigned and also taking note of the quantum of delay, this Court is inclined to condone the delay. Accordingly, this petition is ordered and the Registry is directed to take the appeal on file, if it is otherwise in order and list the matter in the regular course.
