O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 4 to take appropriate action against the respondents 5 to 13, who misappropriated the amount from the Panchayat account and swindled the amounts which were allotted to the beneficiaries under PMAY Scheme.
2. The petitioner is a ward member of Pathinettankudi Village. He made certain allegations as against the President of Village Panchayat and others that they have misappropriated the amount from the Panchayat account. With these averments, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition before this Court.
3. The sixth respondent, namely, the Block Development Officer, has filed a counter affidavit stating that the complaint of the petitioner 3/6
dated 23.03.2022 was considered by the concerned Authority and a detailed enquiry had been conducted and a report had also been called for from the seventh respondent. Based on the field verification and on verification of the records, an order has been passed in Na.Ka.No. 652/2022/Thi3 dated 13.06.2023 that the complaint of the petitioner is baseless and without any supporting materials. The order dated 13.06.2023 is also furnished to the petitioner.
4. In view of the development that action is taken on the petitioner's complaint and the order has also been passed, this Writ Petition is disposed of, by giving liberty to the petitioner to challenge the said order in the manner known to law. There shall be no order as to costs.
