O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant permission and necessary Police protection to perform the cultural programme (ie.,) Adal Padal Dance Programme on 29.04.2018 at 07.00pm to 11.00 pm in the festival of Arulmigu Sri Nagakaniamman Thirukovil at Pandian Oil Mill Street, Theni, Theni District.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3. Today, when the Writ Petition is taken up for admission, it is reported by the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents, on instructions, that no representation is received by the second respondent from the petitioner seeking permission to perform cultural programme. It is his further submission that if any such representation is received, the same will be considered on merits and in accordance with law. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.In the light of the above, this Court directs the petitioner to make a fresh representation before the second respondent and on receipt of the same, the second respondent is directed to consider such representation and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law at early.

5.The Writ Petition is disposed of on the above terms. No costs.
