ORDER

Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner. The writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 2.The grievance of the petitioner is that in pursuance of the disciplinary proceedings pending against him, he was de-promoted by the 3rd respondent, vide order dated 15.05.2014. Challenging the said order, the petitioner filed Appeal No.2 of 2015-16, which is pending, without any progress before the 2nd respondent. In this regard, he has also made representations, which are also kept pending. Hence, seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to dispose of his appeal, the petitioner is before this Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.Considering the limited scope of the relief sought in this writ petition and also taking note of the fact that the appeal is pending for a long period, this Court, without issuing notice to the respondents directs the 2nd respondent to consider Appeal No.2 of 2015-16 filed by the petitioner, on merits and in accordance with law and pass necessary orders, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
