ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.672 of 2021 on the file of the 1st respondent. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the First Information Report registered against the petitioners is completely false and the entire reading of the complaint does not disclose any possibly of offence committed by the petitioners. He would therefore seek to quash the First Information Report registered as against the petitioners.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the 2nd respondent/husband submits that the 2nd respondent has already filed Crl.O.P.(MD) No.5531 of 2022 before this Court seeking a direction to the respondent therein to conclude the investigation and file a final report pertaining to Crime No.672 of 2021 on the file of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD) No.5722 of 2022 respondent therein and this Court, vide order dated 25.03.2022, directed the respondent therein to complete the investigation and file a final report within a period of 2 months. He would further submit that in pursuance of the aforesaid directions, the respondent police are taking necessary steps to file the final report. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the 1st respondent submits that the investigation has been completed and the final report will be filed within the time stipulated by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.5531 of 2022.

5.I have considered the matter in the light of the submissions of the learned counsel for the parties.

6.Admittedly, a case in Crime No.672 of 2021 has been registered as against the petitioners and in pursuance of the directions given by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.5531 of 2022, vide order dated 25.03.2022, the respondent police are going to file the final report in Crime No.672 of 2021. This Court is not inclined to entertain this Criminal Original Petition at this stage and I find no merit for quashing the First Information Report in Crime No.372 of 2021 on the file of the 1st respondent also. 7.Under these circumstances, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
