Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to appoint the petitioner (Roll No.19PG052602904) as PG Assistant in the subject of Chemistry vacancy arose due to the death of one Tamilarasan.M (Roll No.19PG051808769) or other 6 vacancies arose due to the non-joining of the selected candidates forthwith. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner participated in the selection for the post of PG Assistant, Chemistry and the petitioner's name found place in the provisional selection list dated 20.11.2019, in Rank No.210. If the selected candidates fail to join in the post, then the next person in the seniority list will be given an opportunity for appointment. Though, several persons have not joined, the respondents have not considered the petitioner for appointment. Hence, she made a representation in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.[MD]No.6837 of 2021 this regard on 15.03.2020. Since, the said representation is still pending consideration, the petitioner has come up with the present writ petition.

3.Learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that this Court may issue a direction to the respondents to consider his representation dated 15.03.2021.

4.In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 15.03.2021, within a period of twelve [12] weeks. 5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
