ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the 2nd respondent to complete the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner and to disburse the consequential benefits to him.

2.Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3.The grievance of the petitioner is that his representation dated 28.12.2018, requesting the 2nd respondent, to conclude the disciplinary proceedings pending against him and to disburse the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

retirement benefits, has not seen any light so far. Hence, seeking necessary directions to the 2nd respondent, the petitioner is before this Court.

4.The learned Government Advocate, appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the grievances of the petitioner would be dealt with on merits.

5.Considering the limited scope of the relief sought in this writ petition, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.12.2018, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and pass necessary orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
