respondent in RFL/North Veeravanallur/9/2025 dated 21.02.2025 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondent to register the settlement deed dated 19.02.2025 executed by the petitioner in favour of her son and release the same within the time frame fixed by this Court. For Petitioner :

ORDER
The petitioner has filed the present writ petition challenging the impugned refusal slip dated 21.02.2025 and also seeking consequential direction to the first respondent to register the settlement deed dated 19.02.2025.
2. Heard Mr.R. Arumugam, the Learned Counsel for the petitioner, Mr.D.Sasikumar, the Learned Additional Government Pleader for the first respondent and perused the material documents available on record.
3. It is seen from the records that there is a rival claim between the petitioner and private respondents 2 to 8. There was a suit in O.S.No.273 of 1996 on the file of the District Munsif Cum Judicial Magistrate Court, Cheranmahadevi, which was decreed. Against the said Decree, an appeal in A.S.No.27 of 2024 was preferred on the file of the Sub Court, Ambasamudram.
4. During the pendency of this writ petition, both parties settled their dispute and arrived at a compromise in the appeal. Based on the compromise, the appeal suit was allowed, granting title to the petitioner.
5. Considering the facts of the case and in light of the compromise arrived between the parties in the appeal suit, the first respondent is directed to consider the issue and pass an order, in accordance with law.
6. With the above observation, this Writ Petition is allowed. No Costs.
