This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent to grant permission to perform the programmes such as Adal Padal festival on 04.05.2018 at night 07.00 pm to 11.00 pm at Arulmigu Sri Patrakaliamman Kovil Thirukovil, situated at Kovilpatti Tuticorin District and to provide adequate police protection based on the petitioner's representation dated 20.04.2018.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. 3.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the representation already made by the the petitioner has been considered and rejected by the second respondent on 17.04.2018. He has also produced a copy of the order dated 17.04.2018 to that effect.

4.Recording the above submission, this writ petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the rejection order dated 17.04.2018. No costs.
