PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Cr.P.C., directing the third respondent to immediately furnish the information sought for in Crime No. 170/2014 on the file of the third respondent police in the representation dated 14.1.2016 in accordance with the settled proposition of law in Jai Prakash V National Insurance Company Limited and others (2010) ACC 1 (SC).

This petition has been filed for a direction to the third respondent police to furnish information in Crime No.170 of 2014 by virtue of the judgment in Jai Prakash V. National Insurance Company Limited and others (2010) ACC 1 (SC). https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondents. 3.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) would submit that a final report has been filed in this case in C.C.No.38 of 2017 before the Judicial Magistrate, Ilayankudi, for an offence under Section 304(A) IPC.

4. In view of the above, the petitioner is entitled to apply for the certified copy of the final report along with all the documents before the Court below.

5.With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
