ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed for issuing a direction to the first respondent Police not to harass the petitioners under the guise of enquiry.

2. According to the petitioner, the second respondent has made a complaint before the first respondent Police against the petitioners, based on which, the first respondent Police is harassing the petitioners under the guise of enquiry. In such circumstances, the petitioners have filed the present Criminal Original Petition before this Court.

3. The learned Additional Public Persecutor appearing for the respondents Police would submit that based on the complaint received from the second respondent, the first respondent called for enquiry. But, the petitioners did not appear for enquiry.

4. Since the petitioners have not co-operated for enquiry, this Criminal Original Petition is not maintainable. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, the petitioners shall co-operate for enquiry, on receipt of summons from the first respondent.
