O R D E R
This petition is filed seeking for a direction to direct the respondents Nos.4 to 8 not to harass the petitioners on the basis of the representation dated 10.03.2020 sent by the first petitioner to the respondents 1 to 3.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that a representation dated 10.03.2020 has been sent to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/4
Crl.O.P.[MD]No.4946 of 2020 respondents 1 to 3 seeking for a direction to be issued to the respondents 4 to 8, not to harass the petitioners under the guise of enquiry. Hence, the present petition has been filed.
3. The learned Government Advocate [Crl. Side] appearing for the respondent police would submit that the fourth respondent registered a case in F.I.R.No.157 of 2010 registered on 19.03.2020 and therefore, it is the duty cast upon the respondent Police to enquire the matter as per law. Hence, the cooperation of the petitioner is necessary for completion of the investigation.
4. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents 4 to 8 not to harass the petitioner. Further, the petitioners are also directed to furnish the relevant materials enabling the respondent police to expeditiously complete the enquiry.
