This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents to register a case on the complaint of the petitioner dated 28.11.2017.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that based on the petitioner's complaint, a case has already been registered in Crime No.284 of 2017 for "accidental fire" on the file of the third respondent police. He has also produced a copy of the FIR to that effect.

3. Recording the above submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
