O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the second respondent to grant permission to conduct of Aadal Paadal programme on 23.05.2018 in the night hours at the village pongal festival for the temples of Goddess Kali Amman and God Muneeswaran situate at Kila Arunachalapuram Village, Villathikulam Taluk, Thoothukudi District on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 02.04.2018 in person to the second respondent and further representation dated 19.04.2018 to the respondents. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner made a representation dated 19.04.2018 to the respondents, seeking permission to conduct Aadal Paadal programme in the aforesaid temple. Since no order has been passed on the said representation, this writ petition has been filed with the aforementioned prayer.

4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondents submitted that the petitioner's representation is pending with the second respondent and the said programme is scheduled to be held only on 23.05.2018. Therefore, the petitioner's representation shall be considered on merits and in accordance with law.

5.In view of the above submissions made by both parties, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.04.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, taking into consideration of the order passed by this Court in WP(MD)No.7911 of 2018 on 12.04.2018.

6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
