This Criminal Original Petition is filed for issuing a direction to the 3rd respondent to register the case based on the complaint dated, 11.11.2017 made by the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. It is reported by both sides that after completing the enquiry, the First Information Report has been registered in Crime No. 175 of 2018, for the offences under Sections 294(b), 406, 420 and 506(ii) IPC, on the file of the third respondent Police.

4. In view of the fact that the First Information Report has already been registered, nothing survives for adjudication in this

Criminal Original Petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.

However, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner requested this Court to post the matter before the Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre, attached to this Bench, for amicable settlement. If any request is made by the petitioner, the same shall be considered by the Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre attached to this Bench, to settle the dispute between the parties.
