Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to issue appointment order to the petitioner (Hall Ticket No.50020112041) for the post of "Gangman" recruited vide Notification No.1/2019 dated 07.03.2019, by considering the representation made by the petitioner dated 05.03.2021 in the interest of justice.

*********** By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner participated in the selection for the post of Gangman recruited vide Notification No.1 of 2019 dated 07.03.2019. The petitioner was a successful candidate in physical examination and in the written examination conducted on 15.03.2020, the petitioner secured 35 marks. However, his name did not find place in the selection list, whereas, the names of persons who secured lesser marks than the petitioner found place in the selection list. Hence, the petitioner made a representation to the respondents on 05.03.2021. Since, the said representation is still pending consideration, the petitioner is before this Court.

3.Learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice if a direction is issued to the respondents to consider the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.[MD]No.6905 of 2021 representation of the petitioner dated 05.03.2021. 4.In view of the above, this Court directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 05.03.2021, within a period of twelve [12] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
