This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to transfer the further investigation in Crime No.142/2023 offence U/s.174 of Cr.PC from the file of the sixth respondent police to the 11th respondent police within a period that may be stipulated by this Court.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that after completion of investigation, the final report has been filed as 'further action dropped' on 16.02.2024.

3. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of, with liberty to the petitioners to challenge the final report, by filing a petition seeking further investigation under Section 173(8) Cr.P.C., / 193 (9) BNSS, 2023, if not satisfied by the manner in which final report is filed. 03.02.2026 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No pnn L.
