ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to appoint the petitioner as a Sweeper on compassionate ground in the third respondent's Corporation. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner; the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 and the learned counsel appearing for the third respondent. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission.

3.The case of the petitioner is that her father, who was working as a Sweeper in the third respondent Corporation, while in

service, passed away. Seeking compassionate appointment, the petitioner, being the legal heir of the deceased father, submitted a representation dated 09.10.2018 to the third respondent. As the same has not been considered so far, this writ petition has been filed.

4.The learned counsel appearing for the third respondent, on instructions, submitted that the third respondent would consider the petitioner's representation, dated 09.10.2018 and pass orders, on merits.

5.Considering the facts and circumstance of the case, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 09.10.2018 and pass suitable orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. Such an exercise shall be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
