Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to rectify the defects crept in the revenue records relating to the Survey No.60/2B in Thathampatti Village, Vadipatti Taluk, Madurai District in mentioning the extent as 80 cents instead of 90 cents as mentioned in the settlement deed Document No.P1/84/382 dated 17.04.1984 executed by the petitioner's grandfather, Thanikodi Reddiar.

ORDER
When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate submitted that the second respondent will dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 27.11.2017 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
2.The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. It is made clear that this Court has not gone into the merits of the matter. It is for the second respondent to pass order one way or the other. The second respondent shall pass order after putting the petitioner and all the other interested parties on notice. No costs.
