This Criminal Original Petition is filed for issuing a direction to the second respondent to file a final report in Cr.No.861 of 2010 before the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Thoothukudi. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3.Though a case was registered in Cr.No.861 of 2010 for the offences under Sections 341, 294(b), 323, 364, 506(ii) of IPC, it is submitted that there is no further progress and that the second respondent has not filed the charge-sheet despite 7 years have gone from the date of complaint.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the enquiry was almost over and that final report is likely to be filed within a period of two months. 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the second respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report in Cr.No.861 of 2010 within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
