Mr.J.Gunaseelan Muthiah, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3. Notice to the respondents 4 to 8 is dispensed with in view of nature of the order to be passed by this Court.

2. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3. It is the grievance of the petitioner that his representation dated 27.02.2018 seeking to rectify UDR records, has not been considered by the third respondent till date and therefore, he has filed the present writ petition.

4. Since the petitioner seeks for rectification of UDR Records, the first respondent would be the appropriate Authority. As such, the petitioner is granted liberty to approach the first respondent with suitable application ventilating his grievances. On receipt of such application, the first respondent shall conduct appropriate enquiry and dispose the petitioner's application, after giving due notice to the petitioner as well as to the respondents 4 to 8, within a period of twelve weeks thereafter.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
