ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents to sanction pay to the petitioner on par with the Laboratory Assistants working in Government Schools based on the petitioner's representation dated 21.02.2019.

2.The learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner made a representation dated 21.02.2019 to the respondents, seeking to grant him pay, on par with the Lab Assistants working in the Government and Government Aided Schools. As the petitioner's representation has not been taken into consideration by the respondents so far, the petitioner is before this Court, seeking for appropriate direction to the respondents. 3.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be considered by respondents, on merits and appropriate orders would be passed.

4.In view of the above, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.02.2019, on merits and in accordance with law and pass necessary orders, after affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
