Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to conduct survey of the petitioner's land comprised in survey No.592/22A2, admeasuring 5 cents and 63 Sq.ft. situated at Navinipatti Village, Melur Taluk, Madurai District and fix the four boundaries of the said land.

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner has given an application on 19.09.2018 for surveying the petition mentioned property. The first respondent is directed to conclude the survey exercise within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The first respondent shall issue notice to all the adjacent land owners. If any resistance or opposition is encountered and there appears to be any basis for the same, the authority shall relegate the parties to move the jurisdictional civil Court. It is made clear that this Court has not pronounced anything on the merits of the matter.

3. The Writ petition stands disposed of, accordingly. No costs.
