FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL IN CRIME NO.15 OF 2023 ON THE FILE OF THE RESPONDENT POLICE.

ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 120B, 406 and 420 IPC in Crime No.15 of 2023, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the defacto complainant, namely, one Vasanthi is a practicing Advocate in District Court. The accused persons approached the defacto complainant as if, they will secure job in the Court below and extracted a sum of Rs.24,00,000/- and thereafter, they failed to secure any job and also refused to return the amount. Hence, the defacto complainant preferred the present complaint.

3.The learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. He would further submit that the petitioner herein is the wife of A1 and hence, she has been falsely implicated in this case. Accordingly, he prayed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent Police would submit that this is second petition for anticipatory bail and earlier petition was dismissed on 09.01.2024. There is no change in circumstances and hence, he opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the serious allegations made against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant 2/3

anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
