Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing respondents 1 to 3 to instruct respondent No.4 to consider his representation dated 01.03.2019 for receiving temple honour(Mariyadai) by way of customary successors on the basis of the order passed by the 3rd respondent and to deposit all income of the temple in the Bank in the name of six Mariyadaidars on the basis of Resolution dated 07.04.2008 in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

The petitioner has given a representation dated 01.03.2019 to the third respondent in respect of conferment of temple honours. The petitioner wants this Court to direct respondents 1 to 3 to inturn instruct the fourth respondent to consider the said representation. The Hon'ble Supreme Court in Civil Appeal No.2425 of 2019, dated 01.03.2019 has deprecated the practice of passing "dispose of the representation" orders. The petitioner has not asked for any substantive relief in this Writ petition. Hence, this Court is not inclined to grant any relief in this Writ petition.

2. This Writ petition stands dismissed, accordingly. It is made clear that this Court has not pronounced anything on the merits of the matter. The petitioner has to work out his rights elsewhere.
