The Prayer sought for in this Writ Petition is to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 12.04.2018, seeking Voluntary Retirement and consequently to accept the petitioner's Voluntary Retirement application and to settle all the retirement benefits to the petitioner.
2. Heard Mr.M.S.Jeyakarthik, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.D.Sivaraman, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents.
3. The learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that since the petitioner has sought for voluntary retirement from the Respondents Corporation and he has, pursuant to the said https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
representation dated 12.04.2018, approached this Court by filing this writ petition. However, during the pendency of this writ petition, the petitioner has superannuated on 31.05.2018 and hence, the prayer sought for in this writ petition virtually become infructuous.
4. Recording the said submission made by the learned Counsel for the petitioner, as the prayer sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
