O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to register the petitioner's complaint, dated 08.11.2017, within the period stipulated by this Court.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has produced a copy of the closure report and submitted that based on the complaint of the petitioner, an enquiry was conducted by the second respondent Police. Both parties appeared for enquiry, but the petitioner has not co-operated for giving a statement and the proposed accused made a statement that for the very same property in question, already a Civil Suit in O.S.No.1 of 2017 has been filed before the Subordinate Court, Mudukulathur, and the same is pending and she is ready to abide by the decision to be taken in the above said suit and therefore, the said complaint was closed.

3.Recording the above said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. If the petitioner is having any grievance, it is open to him to work out his remedy before the appropriate forum in the manner known to law.
