PRAYER :-This petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to conduct enquiry and take appropriate criminal action against the respondents 3 to 10 pursuant to the C.S.R.No.164 of 2026 on the file of the second respondent by considering the petitioner's complaint dated 21.01.2026.

ORDER
This petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to conduct enquiry and take appropriate criminal action against the respondents 3 to 10 pursuant to the C.S.R.No. 164 of 2026 on the file of the second respondent by considering the petitioner's complaint dated 21.01.2026.
2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents Police submitted that the value of the amount stated in the complaint falls within the jurisdiction of the DCB, Thoothukudi. 2/5
3.Therefore, the petitioner is directed to submit a fresh complaint before the the Inspector of Police, DCB, Thoothukudi, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Thereafter, the DCB, Thoothukudi, shall conduct an enquiry. If any cognizable offence is made out, appropriate action may be taken in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4.With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
