O R D E R
This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for a direction to direct the third respondent to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and his life and limb by considering the petitioner's representation dated 09.01.2020.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner vendor purchased a property situated in UDR Survey No.25/29, Keelapanangadi Village, Madurai District to an extent of 442 sq. feet through court auction for a valuable https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/4
Crl.O.P.[MD]No.4995 of 2020 consideration. While so, the petitioner wanted to celebrate the house warming function and the same was disturbed by the private respondents for which the petitioner made a representation to the respondent on 09.01.2020 seeking for police protection and till date, the said representation has not been considered by the respondent police. Therefore, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it will be sufficient if a direction is issued to the official respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.02.2020 and pass appropriate orders after affording adequate opportunity to the private respondents.
3. The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) submitted that the petitioner's application will be considered in the manner known to law, after affording an opportunity to the private respondents.
4. In view of the above submissions made on either side, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent not to harass the petitioner. Further, the petitioner is also directed to furnish the relevant materials enabling the respondent police to expeditiously complete the enquiry.
