O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking a direction, directing the respondents particularly the 2nd Respondent to conclude the enquiry on the complaint given by the Petitioner dated 07.11.2016 within a time as stipulated by this Honourable Court.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), on instructions, would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 07.11.2016, a case in Crime No.11 of 2017 was registered by the respondent for the offences punishable under Sections 4 of TN Prohibition of Harassment of Woman Act, 2002 and 506(i) of Indian Penal Code.

3. In view of the above stated position, the respondent is directed to investigate the case in Crime No.11 of 2017 and file a final report in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible.

4. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
