This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to alter the route of the National Highways between Melur and Karaikudi by conducting proper survey and after considering the representation made by the petitioner on 02.12.2020.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3 submitted the written instructions received from the Special Tahsildar, viz, the third respondent. For proper appreciation, the relevant portion in the written instructions are extracted hereunder : 3/6

3. In view of the above, it is seen that the realignment has been made without causing any damage to the temple. 4/6

4. Recording the same, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
