ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed to set aside condition No.1 imposed by the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Tiruchirappalli in Cr.M.P.No.897 of 2024 dated 28.02.2024 and modify the condition No.1 imposed against the petitioner related to depositing a sum of Rs.4,00,000/- (Rupees Four Lakhs only) to the credit of Cr.No.34 of 2023.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and other accused persons obtained a sum of Rs.12,00,000/- from the defacto complainant for securing government job and issued a fake appointment order. When the defacto complainant showed the appointment order to the concerned authorities it was found to be a bogus one. Therefore, the defacto complainant lodged a complaint. Based on the complaint, a case in Cr.No.34 of 2023 was registered for the offences under Sections 420, 406, 465, 468 and 471 IPC.

3.Therefore, the petitioner filed anticipatory bail before the Court below in Cr.M.P.No.897 of 2024 and the same was allowed on 28.02.2024 with a condition that the petitioner should deposit a sum of Rs.4,00,000/- to the credit of Cr.No.34 of 2023. Challenging the same, the petitioner filed the present petition.

4.This Court finds no reasonable ground to modify the said condition imposed by the Court below.
