O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition is filed for issuing a direction to the respondent to file a final report in Cr.No.177 of 2017 before the concerned Judicial Magistrate, within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3.The petitioner is the father of the minor boy who was studying 6th standard and found missing. Though the case was registered for missing boy, investigation revealed that the petitioner's son was murdered. Therefore, the case was altered into Section 302 of IPC.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the enquiry was almost completed and recovery of body itself was on the confession statement of the accused. He requires three months time to complete the investigation and to file a final report.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report in Cr.No.177 of 2017, before the concerned Judicial Magistrate, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
