The Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus seeking a direction to the respondents to dispose an application dated 07.06.2022 and issue patta for house property measuring 718 square feet in T.S.No.1628/2A, New T.S.No.174, Ward No.6, Thirumalaisamypuram, Dindigul Town, Dindigul East Taluk,

2. It is stated in the affidavit filed in support of the Writ Petition, it had been stated that the petitioner had been in possession for a considerable period of years. But patta had not been granted. Seeking patta a representation had been given.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader, however stated that the land on which the petitioner is residing is Government poromboke land and that patta cannot be issued to the petitioner herein. It is also stated that the petitioner has been informed by the official that since it is Government poromboke land, the petitioner cannot be issued with any patta.

4. Let an order be passed by the second respondent after giving notice to the petitioner herein and the said order may passed on or before 31.08.2023.

5. With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
