Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission to conduct Aadal Paadal Program on 21.03.2019, at Malaichamy Temple, Y.Kodikulam Village, Madurai District and consequently, give adequate police protection to the festival by considering the representation of the petitioner, dated 13.03.2019.

ORDER
The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition, seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission to conduct Aadal Paadal Program on 21.03.2019 at Malaichamy Temple, Y.Kodikulam Village, Madurai District and consequently, give adequate police protection to the festival, by considering the representation of the petitioner, dated 13.03.2019. 2.The petitioner submits that he is the President of Y.Kodikulam Village and festival committee member of Malaichamy Temple. The Village people used to celebrate temple festival every year in the Tamil Month of Masi and Panguni. Now, they have decided to celebrate the said temple festival on 21.03.2019, for which, the petitioner has made a representation to the respondents seeking https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
permission to conduct the Aadal Paadal program on 21.03.2019 through RPAD on 13.03.2019. Since the said representation was not considered by the respondent police till date, left with no other alternative remedy, the petitioner has approached this Court by way of the present writ petition.
3.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), on instructions from the respondent police, submitted that the petitioner's representation will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed on or before 21.03.2019, on merits and in accordance with law.
4.Recording the above said submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), nothing survives for further adjudication in this Writ Petition. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
