Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to give permission to conduct Valli Thirumanam Drama on 18.03.2019 and on 21.03.2019 Aadal Paadal and Village Cultural Events in connection with the Panguni Uthira Thiruvizha at Arulmigu Valli Deivanai Samathe Sri Sivasubramani Swami Temple, situated at Sittrualai North, Pudhukudi, Manmelkudi Taluk, Pudukkottai District, based upon the petitioner's representation dated 14.03.2019.

ORDER

The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition, seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to give permission to conduct Valli Thirumanam Drama on 18.03.2019 and on 21.03.2019 Aadal Paadal and Village Cultural Events in connection with the Panguni Uthira Thiruvizha at Arulmigu Valli Deivanai Samathe Sri Sivasubramani Swami Temple, situated at Sittrualai North, Pudhukudi, Manmelkudi Taluk, Pudukkottai District, based upon the petitioner's representation dated 14.03.2019. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.K.Gokul,

learned counsel appearing for the petitioner limiting his prayer, submitted that if a direction is given to the respondents concerned to grant permission for conducting Valli Thirumanam Drama on 18.03.2019 with traditional Artists, that would suffice. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that it is open to the petitioner to conduct Valli Thirumanam Drama on 18.03.2019 with traditional Artists.

4.Recording the above said submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), nothing survives for further adjudication in this Writ Petition. However, it is made clear that Obscene dance / songs / vulgar dialogues should be avoided during the Drama and if any untoward incident takes place, it is open to the Law Enforcing Agency to take appropriate action. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
