O R D E R

The petitioner, who is the first defendant, has filed the Civil Revision Petition seeking a direction to the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Thiruppathur to dispose of the suit proceedings in O.S.No.159 of 2016 within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court under the circumstances of the case. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is aged about 66 years and therefore, he seeks a direction to the court below for early disposal.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for R9 to R11. There is no representation for the respondents 1 to 8.

4. Considering the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the court below. The learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Thiruppathur, Sivagangai District, is directed to dispose of the suit in O.S. No. 159 of 2016 within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving opportunity to both parties.

5. With the above direction, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
