Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to grant permission to perform ''Valli Thirumanam Drama'', a cultural programme to be conducted on 19.03.2019 at 5.30 p.m. to 11.00 p.m. on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 13.03.2019, in connection with the Panguni Festival at Arulmigu Ariyakurichi Vettudaiyar Kaliamman Temple, Kalaiyar Kovil Taluk, Sivagangai District. The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition, seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to grant permission to perform ''Valli Thirumanam Drama'', a cultural programme to be conducted on 19.03.2019 at 5.30 p.m. to 11.00 p.m. on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 13.03.2019, in connection with the Panguni Festival at Arulmigu Ariyakurichi Vettudaiyar Kaliamman Temple, Kalaiyar Kovil Taluk, Sivagangai District.

petitioner to conduct Valli Thirumanam Drama on 19.03.2019 with traditional Artists.
3.Recording the above said submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), nothing survives for further adjudication in this Writ Petition. However, it is made clear that Obscene dance / songs / vulgar dialogues should be avoided during the Drama and if any untoward incident takes place, it is open to the Law Enforcing Agency to take appropriate action.
