Respondent PRAYER : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the the respondents to consider and pass orders on the application submitted by the petitioner to the respondent dated 14.01.2020 06.02.2020 on merits and in accordance with law for granting license to the petitioner to impart "One Day Renewal Refresher Training Certificate Course" on Driving Skills in Heavy Goods Vehicle bearing Registration No.TN 55 AH 1760 and also in regard to issuance of Training Instructor's Endorsement on the aforesaid Heavy Goods Vehicle for imparting training on Driving Skills so as to get renewal of license to drive Heavy Goods Vehicles within the time frame that may be fixed by this Honourable Court. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 2.The petitioner herein had filed a petition in the nature of Mandamus seeking a direction against the respondent to consider https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P(MD)No.5859 of 2020 the representations dated 14.01.2020 and 06.02.2020 for granting licence to the petitioner to impart "One Day Renewal Refresher Training Certificate Course" on Driving Skills in Heavy Goods Vehicle with lorry bearing Registration No.TN 55 AH 1760. 3.The petitioner is the proprietor of Annai Driving School. He also had a license bearing License No.1/TN45/TRY/2015, which is valid from 10.09.2015 to 09.09.2020. He imparts training to drive Motor Cycle, Light Motor Vehicle and also Heavy Goods Vehicles. With respect to heavy goods vehicle, the lorry bearing Registration No.TN 55 AH 1760 has been specifically recognised by the Respondent. The petitioner seeks to grant licence to impart training for "One Day Renewal Refresher Training Certificate Course" on heavy Goods Vehicle with lorry bearing Registration No.TN 55 AH 1760 and also give Training Instructor's Endorsement through the aforesaid vehicle. However, the respondent had received the representation, but had not passed any orders.

4.In view of these facts, a Mandamus is issued to the respondent, to invite the petitioner, to enquire with him, examine the documents and then pass appropriate orders, based on reasons. The entire exercise shall be completed on or before 09.04.2020. 5.With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
