Respondents PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. praying to direct the 2nd respondent to register the First Information Report on the basis of the complaint dated 17.07.2016 given by the petitioner for offences under Sections 147, 148, 341, 323, 324, 354, 294(b) and 506(ii) of IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prevention of Women Harassment Act and consequently direct the 1st respondent to supervise the investigation. ORDER

It is a petition seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to register the First Information Report on the basis of the complaint dated 17.07.2016 given by the petitioner for offences under Sections 147, 148, 341, 323, 324, 354, 294(b) and 506(ii) of IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prevention of Women Harassment Act and consequently direct the 1st respondent to supervise the investigation.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side).

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), on instructions, would submit that on the complaint given by the petitioner, FIR has been registered on 16.08.2016 in Crime No.205 of 2016 for offences under Sections 147, 294(b), 323, 324 and 355 IPC.
