Prayer: Writ Petition - filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents Nos.1 and 2 to make survey and demarcation of the petitioner's land comprised in S.No.321/2A, bearing Patta No.1058, measuring an extent of 0.68.0 Hectare, situated at Kootudankadu Village, Thoothukudi Taluk, Thoothukudi District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 24.09.2018.

ORDER

The prayer in this writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents Nos.1 and 2 to make survey and demarcation of the petitioner's land comprised in S.No.321/2A, bearing Patta No.1058, measuring an extent of 0.68.0 Hectare, situated at Kootudankadu Village, Thoothukudi Taluk, Thoothukudi District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 24.09.2018. 2.Heard Mr.Mandhiralingeswaran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Anand, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that, the land in question comprised in S.No.321/2A to an extent of 0.68.0 Hectare situated at Kootudankadu village, Thoothukudi Taluk, Thoothukudi District is the petitioner's land and in order to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

measure the boundary of the land and to lay the boundary stone, the petitioner had made request on 24.09.2018 and necessary amount has also been paid. However, the respondents have not so far measured the land. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court. 4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submits that, within a time to be stipulated by this Court, based on the request of the petitioner, the land in question would be measured and after measurement, boundary stones would be laid. 5.Taking into account the said stand taken by the respondents, this Court is inclined to pass the following order: "that the respondents are hereby directed to survey and demarcate the petitioner's land comprised in S.No.321/2A, bearing Patta No.1058, measuring an extent of 0.68.0 Hectare, situated at Kootudankadu Village, Thoothukudi Taluk, Thoothukudi District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 24.09.2018, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order." 6.With this direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
