Heard the learned counsel on either side.
2. The petitioner's father Natarajan was allotted Shop No.2, inside Thisaiyanvilai Bus-stand, belonging to the third respondent Panchayat, in the year 2012. He passed away on 26.05.2018. Thereafter, the Shop in question has been in the occupation of the writ petitioner. It is submitted by the Panchayat that the petitioner's father was in arrears to the tune of Rs.6,57,287/- (Rupees Six Lakhs Fifty Seven Thousand Two Hundred and Eighty Seven only). The petitioner has agreed to clear the said arrears by paying a sum of Rs.25,000/-(Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only) per https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
month. The petitioner of course has to pay the monthly rent apart from the said installment amount. If the petitioner fails to remit the said installment amount for two consecutive months, the order that has now been passed will stand automatically recalled. The petitioner gives a further undertaking that he will not apply for modification of this order.
