This Writ Petition is filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents to grant permission to conduct the Adal Padal programme on 28.03.2022 at 06.00 P.M. to 11.00 P.M in connection with Thiru Vizha of Arulmigu Sri Kali Amman Thirukovil at V.Kalla Patti Village, Veppanuthu Panchayat, Usilampatti Taluk, Madurai District and to provide police protection. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the rival party also sought for permission to conduct cultural programme on 28.03.2022. Already there was dispute between the petitioner and rival party, in which, two FIRs have been registered on the file of the second respondent.

3.Therefore, the request made by the petitioner cannot be considered at this stage and this petition is devoid of merits. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

WP(MD). No.5445 of 2022 4.Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. However, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the second respondent, along with the rival party and seek permission to celebrate the festival.
