O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent police to conduct the investigation and to register the case against the alleged accused on the basis of complaint lodged by the petitioner on 27.07.2016 in CSR.No.317/2016 on the file of the respondent police.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that enquiry has been conducted on the petitioner's complaint and subsequently it has been closed as false complaint. He has also produced a copy of the closure report dated 02.01.2017 for a perusal of this Court.

3.Recording the above submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, if the petitioner is aggrieved by the said report, it is open to her to approach the concerned Court seeking appropriate relief.
